True learning start with respect. After showing respect to God and the Master, if one starts learning, then heart always remain full with humbleness. In the search of truth, doubt is like a sword, you have to use the doubt very carefully. If you hold the doubt with trust, then you will conquer the truth. But, without humbleness, if you try to learn something, then you will never have the clarity to discover the truth. Without humbleness, doubt will always bring another doubt. And what you will find, if it satisfies the ego, then you will take it, if it do not satisfy the ego, then you will reject it. So, the things you will find, in search of truth, that will not be the truth, it will be just the idea about the truth. But respectful doubt is a completely different thing. Respectful doubt, will be not knowing the truth, but heart will be open for to except and take anything in search of truth. It is like the scientist, they do not know the answer, but they keep on doing the experiment, again and again the experiment, result come as failure, but they have the trust, if they keep on doing the experiment one day, they will be able to find the answer. Although, they do not know the answer, but they have the trust one day, they will find the answer. This is called faithful doubt, or respectful doubt. For in this search, doubt is used just as a means, but this doubt is not to deny the truth, or refuse the truth, it is a process, it is a method to reach to the truth, to its purest form. Buddha used: Neti, Neti, as a method to find the ultimate truth. Because of this method, west misunderstood Buddha, they said, Buddha is negative to life. But they completely miss the method of East to reach to the ultimate truth. But unknowingly, science took the technique and today science prosper so much and developed so much and bring such a great progressive discoveries in every steps of life. On the other side, religion deny this progressive technique and use ego for to find or create the truth, what suits them, they gave the name, that as a truth and stop inquiry and further investigation for to discover the truth. As a result, we have religion, we have scriptures of religion, we have enlightened Masters of the religions, but all the source of the foundation, none of them have a concrete truth. For example, the founder of the religion, his birth, his life, his work, there has no one voice. So much conflict and doubt and confusion. Same goes to the scriptures, they write things and then rewrite the things, something they will remove, something they will add, every time will be said, this is the ultimate truth, this is the ultimate things coming from God and after a few hundred years, things will change, war will break out, people will die and all kind of destructive things will go on. But if they were going to inquire with a respectful doubt, then religion also could become respectful like science. People no need to love, to know about the religious statement, by hearing something like people in the past, religious people murdered, just for the belief, somebody says earth is moving around the sun, or earth is round not like a plain plate.
So, I hope in future, the source of learning for all branches of knowledge and wisdom, will accept respectful doubt and trust for to discover the truth. It will bring, a healthy, wealthy and progressive world.
